Search Engine Optimization

Welcome to my search engine optimization, e-business.  If you are serious about e-commerce and the ends and outs of this SEO world, spend a few minutes reading my biography, and what I have to say about guaranteed search results.  If you are relatively new to the idea of improved search engine results, then by all means read what I have written about directories and search engines, and success on the web.

I have been a seo since May of 1999, almost five years ago as I compose this page in March 2004.  I primarily work through web site designers and e-marketing specialists in Ohio, Missouri, Tennessee, California, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida, but if you are a large company, I will consider working directly with you in an effort to improve your results when potential customers look for your product(s), service(s), or the information you are trying to disseminate.

What I will do is research your industry on the world wide web to see what key words and key phrases people are using to find products and services similar to yours.  I will talk to you about how you want people to find your company, and about how to limit the traffic to your site to those most likely to become paying customers as they buy your products or services online.  Additionally, I will make suggestions as to how you might improve your web site to be more acceptable to the search engine community.

At the right point in our work together, I will compose the right title, description and choose the appropriate list of key words and key phrases we will use to get the job done.  After your web site manager has uploaded this new code called a header, I will submit your site to the right group of search engines and directories. (This free group gets smaller all the time. What once was a list of 20 SE’s and directories is now only a very few, i.e. Google, Alta Vista, The Online Directory Project, The Yellow Pages, and InfoUSA.)  I will strongly suggest, that you pay for listings with another group of search engines that will recognize your web site within a few days, namely, Lycos/HotBot, FAST at alltheweb, Inktomi, and Ask Jeeves-Teoma.  The cost for these is a paltry $104 (Inktomi will be gone after April 15th.)

To show you the kind of success I’ve had in the past, let me refer you to these examples. (Caveat: search results can change overnight.  I will try to keep these examples fresh, but there is a chance that what I point you to will no longer be as it is at this moment.)

Using Google for each search:

"Garage Shelves"  brings up Shulte Distinctive Storage in 1st place.

"Smoky Mt. Tennessee restaurants" and find Stokley Hospitality Enterprises in 3rd place.

"wood garage doors" finds Clopay in first place.

"Plumber, Corrosion, Rusty Water" brings up Anmac in 1st place.

"visas, Encino California attorney" finds Bernard Sidman in 2nd place.

"Tulsa style music, blues" brings up Cherry Street Records in 1st place.

"Oil Absorbing, Plastic Bead Blasting" leads to HiTech Polymers in 1st place.

"garbage, waste management, Cincinnati" brings up Rumpke in 1st place.

"green house, botanical gardens" brings in Rough Bros. in 1st place.

"banking law, computer, information technology law" finds Deters,

Benzinger & LaVelle, P.S.C. in 1st place.
